About us at Advantage Physiotherapy
Our History
Our Little Chalfont, Amersham clinic was opened in May 2009. Thankfully, we have become a liked & trusted part of the community referred to by local GPs, consultants and local recommendations who have learned about us through the high-quality service we provide to private and referred clients.
Our other clinic is Ruislip Physio.

Kelly
Strictly Come Dancing expert with a keen eye for detail
Kelly’s years of experience and extensive post graduate training make her a great physiotherapist. Her attention to detail and holistic approach will ensure your treatment and rehabilitation is targeted to your goals.
Kelly gained a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester in 2001. She worked as a Senior Physiotherapist for 12 years at Watford General Hospital, assessing and treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Kelly has post-graduate training in spinal manipulation and mobilisation, sports massage, acupuncture, and Pilates. She is also trained to treat dizziness through vestibular rehabilitation.
Outside of work Kelly enjoys fitness classes, Pilates, theatre, live music and travelling.

Paul
Director, physio and coach to youngsters of Ruislip Rugby Club!
Paul certainly keeps himself busy; treating our patients, supporting his staff, family life and working with local GP’s and consultants to ensure Advantage and Ruislip Physiotherapy is of the standard. Somehow Paul also finds time to coach the Ruislip under 7’s rugby team and enjoys any kind of physical challenge, why not ask him what his next adventure is!
After qualifying in Sports Sciences at Brunel University Paul gained a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the East London University in 2004; Paul worked for 3.5 years in various departments throughout Mount Vernon Hospital before focusing of musculoskeletal conditions.
Paul is particularly interested in sports injuries, knee, shoulder, and spinal problems, post-operative rehabilitation, and foot biomechanical assessment. Paul has additional training in acupuncture.

Tom
Aspiring Rugby Player
Tom qualified from Brunel University BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. Since then, completing his rotations at Watford General Hospital experiencing all areas of Physiotherapy. Tom then specialised in MSK Physio at West Hertfordshire Therapy Unit working with a variety of Musculoskeletal conditions. He now works in both our Ruislip and Amersham Practice since coming on board full time with us.
He played Rugby for many years throughout his youth and career and progressed to play at a highly competitive standard with both London Scottish Academy and Camberley Rugby Club. Through his love of rugby, and he also had the privilege alongside of working alongside Hertfordshire County rugby within the development performance pathway. He is now an Ex-Rugby player turned Triathlete and a general fitness and training fanatic!

Laura
Keen Musculoskeletal Physio, runner and women’s health physio
Laura graduated with a BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy from Brighton University in 2004. She experienced all areas of physiotherapy by completing her rotations at Watford General Hospital and has worked in a variety of NHS settings. Laura specialises in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and has extensive post graduate training including advanced assessment and treatment of musculoskeletal problems, acupuncture, treatment of dizziness through vestibular rehabilitation, sports massage and spinal manipulation.
Laura has a passion for women’s health physiotherapy and has vast experience in assessing and treating pelvic floor dysfunction, pre and postnatal rehabilitation and bladder and bowel problems.
Outside of work Laura enjoys exercising and spending time with her young family.

Alex
Football fan and sports physio
Alex gained a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from the University of Brighton in 2013. He started his career at Spire Bushey Hospital where he gained experience in a range of physiotherapy areas. Following this Alex, worked as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust.

Dale
A family man with a joy of bodyweight training
Dale graduated from University of Hertfordshire in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiotherapy. After graduating he worked in various musculoskeletal posts, before moving to a senior physiotherapy role. He is currently working as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner, triaging, and assessing patients for appropriate investigation, treatment, and onward referral.
Dale completed an MSc in Advanced Neuro-musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at King’s College London. This allowed him entry to the Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists (MACP), and he continues to complete post graduate training regularly.
Outside of work, he enjoys time with family and friends, cinema, and bodyweight training for exercise.

Jennie
An avid runner and budding triathlete
Jennie gained a Masters in Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 2002. After graduating she initially worked in the NHS before moving into private practice where she has gained a wealth of experience in musculoskeletal conditions over the last 20 years. She has managed the Physiotherapy provision at Westcombe Park RFC and Barclays Bank Headquarters in Canary Wharf as well as owning and running a successful Physiotherapy clinic in Ascot.
After spending 4 years in Amsterdam with her family, Jennie has returned to the UK and settled in Buckinghamshire. Outside of the clinic Jennie loves any outdoor sport, particularly running, cycling, and skiing.

Jaleesa
Inspiring others to reach their full potential
Following three hip surgeries and rehabilitation in her early teenage years, Jaleesa has always been inspired to help others reach their best potential. Graduating from the University of Hertfordshire with BSc Hons in 2013, Jaleesa started her career at Barts Health London NHS trust rotating in many inpatient and outpatient settings.
Through the years, Jaleesa has progressed her skills working in musculoskeletal practice and is currently based in Hillingdon.
Jaleesa is currently studying her masters part time; furthering her experience with current evidence based practice.
Leisurely, Jaleesa enjoys running, reading and an evening at the theatre.

Gemma
Sports Masseur
Gemma provides sport massage part time at Ruislip Physio as well as a physio role at our local Ruislip Rugby club. Through her love of all things sport, knowledge and determination Gemma has the privilege of working with the England Sevens rugby team!

Karen
Pilates Instructor
Karen decided to leave her job in the corporate world and retrain as a Pilates Teacher in 2011, having always had a passion for dance and fitness.
Karen completed her teacher training with the Body Control Pilates Association and started to work with local Physiotherapists to help rehabilitate their patients with Pilates exercises following sports injuries. Having a keen interest in Pilates for rehab, she continued her professional development with the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute based in London and has most recently qualified in teaching Reformer Pilates.
In her spare time, Karen enjoys most fitness-related activities, especially running, bouldering and paddle boarding.

Pali
Pilates Instructor
A lifelong passion for dance and movement led Pali to become a Personal Trainer. Fascinated by how the body moves, she went on to study many different movement systems including Pilates. She is a certified, comprehensive teacher with Polestar Pilates.
Qualified in both mat and Reformer Pilates among other studio apparatus she offers 1-2-1 classes and small groups sessions. She is dedicated to helping clients move efficiently, with confidence and be free of pain.
Pali believes that the benefits of Pilates should be accessible to everyone. Her experience is diverse, from those simply wanting to improve their well-being to athletes to those navigating through health concerns including, back pain, spinal conditions, cancer and hip and knee replacements.
In her spare time Pali enjoys dancing, rock climbing, paddle-boarding, and pottery.
Her motto is: “Never stop moving. Never stop learning.”

Sarah
Yoga Instructor
Sarah’s offering as a yoga teacher is heartfelt & beyond the physical body. Sarah provides space for students to move as they need, to breathe well, and cultivate a sense of compassion to themselves.
Sarah has been teaching yoga full time for about 8 years, with over 20 years of experience in dance & wellness.
Sarah trained in classical dance at the Royal Ballet School and Central School of Ballet, so much of her movement inspiration is flowy and graceful! A few years after Ballet school, Sarah taught fitness classes and trained clients in gyms to become stronger & fitter but really enjoyed the psychological piece in creating new habits for healthier lifestyles.
When she’s not running around after two young boys and lively chocolate Labrador, Sarah escapes to her own studio to practise and reset.
